SIBERIAN
Siberian cats are affectionate, social, intelligent, and can be suitable for some allergy sufferers due to lower levels of the Fel d 1 protein.
> Good for families:
Siberians are known for being friendly and affectionate, often bonding strongly with their human families, and are generally good with children and other pets.
> “Hypoallergenic” for some:
While no cat is truly hypoallergenic, Siberians produce less of the Fel d 1 protein in their saliva, which is a common allergen for cat-allergic people.
> Intelligent and playful:
They are smart and enjoy playtime, requiring opportunities to explore and climb, making them engaging companions.
> Talkative but not loud:
They can be vocal, often expressing themselves with chirps and meows, but they are typically not as loud as other vocal breeds.
> Adaptable to weather:
Their thick coat and natural origins make them more suited to colder weather.
